La Cala Golf has the widest choice, around its three courses; next come Mijas Golf, Valtocado and the hillside urbanisations near Mijas Pueblo, such as La Alquería or Lomas de Mijas, with open views along the coast. In Riviera del Sol, Campo Mijas or Cerros del Águila the odd plot comes up within established urbanisations, and every so often large development sites appear.
